Hello. I ve been hoping you would look at me. For as long as I can remember, through many nights and many dewy dawns, I ve been waiting to speak to you. Finally you ve arrived. Look, I m inside this cage. My name is Florian the Peacock. Can you see me? I envy the way that you can roam freely all over the garden and house, on your two legs. My two legs just have this cage to strut in... Witch Quest is a story devised by children from St Georges School, working with writer Vahni Capildeo, illustrator, Maddy Vian and facilitators Lucy Sheerman and Emma Mollica. The app has two modes - 'Play in the Park' using GPS and 'Read the Story' for just reading or listening at home. Narration is by Wendy Morgan with recording and sound by Andrew Delaney. The story is commissioned by Metal as part of NetPark, a unique digital art project mapping stories and artist projects onto Chalkwell Park. NetPark is supported by the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts Nesta, Arts & Humanities Research Council and public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. This story App was supported with additional funding from Royal Opera House Bridge.
